MISSION STATEMENT

Jesith Busan 1 is a serious guild for serious players of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. Free-to-play members are okay.

The ultimate goals we are working toward are:

1. 30K raid tickets daily (accomplished regularly now),
2. Completion of Tier IV-VII on all activities (accomplished),
3. Heroic rancor every two days (now happening)
4. Heroic A.A.T. every 3 days (getting there)

MAXIMIZING GUILD BENEFITS

GUILD BENEFITS

Guilds provide guild coins for guild store purchases and large rewards from raids, including credits, guild coins, and gear. Gear necessary for advancement to Gear Level IX can only be obtained from Tier V or higher raids or at a hefty price from the guild store. Thus, players who wish to max out their toons' gear must participate daily in a healthy guild. Without a healthy guild, players' toons are essentially locked out of Gear Level IX. Also, Han Solo and General Kenobi shards can be obtained only from Heroic raids.

HOW GUILDS WORK

When a member uses energy, the guild gets daily raid tickets, up to 600 per member per day. A fully active guild can generate up to 30,000 raid tickets per day. 50 active F2P members can pay for a Heroic rancor every 2 days and Heroic tank every 3 days. The best thing you can do for your guild is produce 600 raid tickets each and every day. Just do it.

MEMBERSHIP LIMIT

A guild can only have 50 members.

DAILY EVENTS

There are up to six significant events at specified times every day. Many of our members are in the Korean time zone. Times listed are Korea time (+9 G.M.T.).

1. Midnight: Daily Reset
2. Noon: Lunch Energy
3. 6:00 P.M.: Supper Energy and Squad Arena Rewards
4. 6:30 P.M.: Guild Reset, Guild Rewards, and Tank-Raid Launch Time
5. 9:00 P.M.: Night Energy
6. 10:00 P.M.: Rancor-Raid Launch Time

DAILY ACTIVITIES

There is a cycle of seven activities each week. Participants may receive guild coins as rewards. Prizes are scheduled into tiers. Completing Tier I of the activity produces small prizes. As tiers are completed, the prize pool goes up. This is not competitive. The lowest prize of Tier II is nearly as good as the highest prize of Tier I. The more members who participate, the more all members benefit.

Activities begin at Guild Reset and end the following day at Guild Reset.

1. Sunday-Monday: Cantina Energy (This Should Be Easy, Right?)
2. Monday-Tuesday: Light Side Battles
3. Tuesday-Wednesday: Galactic War Nodes (The Long War)
4. Wednesday-Thursday: Hard Mode Battles (No Padawans Here)
5. Thursday-Friday: Daily Challenges (A Challenging Endeavor)
6. Friday-Saturday: Dark Side Battles (The Power of the Dark Side)
7. Saturday-Sunday: P.v.P. Squad Arena Battles (To Crush Your Enemies)

ACTIVITY MINIMUMS AND MAXIMUMS

Members are expected to participate in all activities. Mimimums shall be enforced at the discretion of the leader. If we complete Tier VII of an activity, under-participation is irrelevant. The following minimums and maximums currently apply:

1. Cantina Energy: 500 (suggested, not required)
2. Light Side Battles: 500 (suggested, not required)
3. Galactic War Nodes: 24 maximum, required
4. Hard Mode Battles: 500 (suggested, not required)
5. Daily Challenges: 16 maximum, required
6. Dark Side Battles: 500 (suggested, not required)
7. P.v.P. Squad Arena Battles: 5 minimum, required (unless we finish Tier V without you)

Free-to-play (F2P) members should read the F.A.Q. below to learn how to easily meet the suggested minimums.

TIPS FOR DAILY ACTIVITIES

The following tips will help members to choose strategies for maximizing benefits both for personal goals and for guild participation. When every member starts doing these things, more tiers are completed, and everyone's rewards increase.

Sunday-Monday: Cantina Energy (This Should Be Easy, Right?)

Preparation: Allow Cantina energy to accumulate beforehand close to your personal limit. Cantina energy accrues at the rate of one every 12 minutes. Guild Reset: Begin using accumulated Cantina energy.

Crystals: The first two Cantina refreshes at 100 crystals each are the best value in the game for using crystals, hands down. This is the best time to use crystals.

Daily Reset: Budget another 100 or 200 crystals for Cantina energy refreshes.

[The following part has been kept for informational purposes. Our Galactic War limit is now 24, so the following part is no longer important.]

In preparation for Tuesday's activity, reset Galactic War, enter node 1, and immediately exit. This scores the daily achievement rewards while leaving all twelve nodes open until Tuesday after Guild Reset. Monday's war will be fought on Tuesday. This may be a little hard to understand, but, unlike any other activity in the game, Galactic War is manually reset. Monday's war will remain open. If it is completed on Tuesday, then a reset immediately afterward will activate Tuesday's war without losing anything.

Finishing: Try to use up all Cantina energy before the next Guild Reset.

Monday-Tuesday: Light Side Battles

Preparation: Allow regular energy to accumulate close to the limit. Do not collect Supper Energy until after Guild Reset thirty minutes later. There are two hours to claim it.

Guild Reset: Use 45 or more energy on appropriate battles. Then, collect Supper Energy, and use it all appropriately. This is a good time to farm shards and gear.

Energy Refresh: The first two energy refreshes per day cost 50 crystals each. All members are expected to purchase two energy refreshes before Daily Reset and two after Daily Reset before the next Guild Reset. This also applies to the Wednesday-Thursday and Friday-Saturday activities.

Finishing: Try to use up all regular energy before the next Guild Reset. Allow Cantina energy to accumulate close to the limit in order to credit that toward the next day's daily coin contribution.

Tuesday-Wednesday: Galactic War Nodes (The Long War), maximum possible individual score: 36, guild allowed maximum: 24

Preparation: Monday's Galactic War should still be open. [Maybe just a few nodes if being sure that you reach 24 is your goal. otherwise, this no longer matters in light of the guild limit of 24.]

Guild Reset: Finish Monday's war. When finished, reset for Tuesday's war before Daily Reset.

Finishing: Finish Tuesday's war and Wednesday's war before Guild Reset, but be sure to stop at 24 nodes. Leftover nodes can be fought after guild reset.

Wednesday-Thursday: Hard Mode Battles (No Padawans Here)

Preparation: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Guild Reset: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Crystals: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Daily Reset: If you do not have Ships open, save all Challenges. If you do have Ships open, do both Ship Challenges and two Challenges. Save the remaining six Challenges.

Finishing: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Thursday-Friday: Challenges (A Challenging Endeavor), maximum possible individual score: 20, including Fleet Challenges, guild allowed maximum: 16

Preparation: Save Thursday's Challenges for Guild Reset. [As described above at previous daily reset.]

Guild Reset: Do all remaining Challenges before daily reset.

Daily Reset and Finishing: Do all Challenges before Guild Reset.

Friday-Saturday: Dark Side Battles

Preparation: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Guild Reset: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Crystals: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Daily Reset: Do not engage Squad Arena battles. Save them for the next Guild Reset. If you must fight to save position, do so. Members can score 10 without using crystals, but the minimum required by the guild is only 5.

Finishing: Same as Monday-Tuesday.

Saturday-Sunday: P.v.P. Squad Arena Battles (To Crush Your Enemies)

Preparation: Save Squad Arena battles for Guild Reset.

Guild Reset: Fight all five Squad Arena battles.

Crystals: 50 crystals will purchase the first refresh. The second is 100. Neither is a good investment, but if a refresh will ensure a payout from the top 100 to the top 50, a player can break even on the increased payout for one refresh.

Daily Reset and Finishing: Fight the additional 5 battles before Guild Reset.

RAIDS

Raids provide gear, guild coins, and credits. Heroic raids also provide shards for special characters obtainable only from Heroic raids. Raids are a very important part of guild activity. Here at Jesith Busan 1, we take them very seriously.

When Jesith Busan 1 runs any raid, members must register before fighting, and when the raid is actually fought 24 hours after registration opens, all members are expected to follow instructions given by the guild leader. With Heroic rancor, we are powerful enough to simply zerg it after the registration period.

RAID ZERO-DAMAGE REGISTRATION

Our raids can end very quickly. All members generate tickets for raids. Therefore, all members are entitled to an opportunity to benefit from raids. Jesith Busan 1 uses 24-hour zero-damage registration for all raids. If the clock shows more than 24 hours remaining, no member may fight the raid, but all members should register. This registration period is very important. We have the power to zerg the entire Heroic-rancor raid in 30 minutes or less. Every member needs a full day to register to ensure prizes.

In the case of H.A.A.T., we will be making certain expections to members capable of soloing Phase I to give them time to carefully solo the phase. Some ad hoc rules for H.A.A.T. are likely to apply as we develop the capacity to complete it. We are not there. If you are looking for a H.A.A.T. guild, look elsewhere. We are months away from H.A.A.T.

To register:

1. Enter Phase I of the raid with one character (toon), the lowest power available. A warning that the squad is incomplete will appear. Ignore this warning and continue into the raid.
2. Do not attack the middle boss. Attack only the side guards.
3. Get the character (toon) killed.
4. When finished, the registered member's score will appear as 0. Consequently, even if no further combat happens for that member before the raid ends, that member will still be awarded a prize.
5. Ad hoc rule: Those who finish top 3 in normal tank are expected to use up all of their resources on Phase I of the next tank raid after registration. This is to prevent sandbagging for the top positions. While we understand that sandbagging is a useful means of ensuring a top position, while we are gearing up for H.A.A.T., sandbagging does not help the whole guild to train properly. This rule will no longer apply once we become strong enough to beat normal tank with no members getting a daily reset of attempts.

Your raid time is inconveneient for me. Can you change it or allow me to do a little damage during registration?"

What are the rules?

1. Make 600 raid tickets daily.
2. Register properly for Heroic raids.
3. Score more than 0 on every activity.
4. Follow minimums and maximums. Squad arena minimum is 5 points. Galactic War maximum is 24 points. Challenges maximum is 16 points.

How do I make tickets?

Use energy.

How much energy do I need to use to make 600 tickets?

600.

Do Squad Arena battles produce tickets?

No. Only using energy produces tickets.

Does winning Galactic War nodes produce tickets?

No. Only using energy produces tickets.

Does completing Challenges produce tickets?

No. Only using energy produces tickets.

Does participating in daily activities produce tickets?

Participation in four of the seven daily activities produces tickets because they use energy. Those four are: Cantina Energy, Light Side Battles, Hard Mode Battles, and Dark Side Battles.

Does Cantina energy count for making tickets?

Yes.

Why are there maximums?

Our top priority is finishing tier VII. We do that with Galactic War and Challenges easily, even with limits.

Galactic War is limited for several reasons. First of all, the maximum possible score is 36 points. However, setting up for a score that high is bothersome in many ways. Also, we have members in various time zones who might be hard pressed to complete their Galactic Wars in order to tie for first. Thus, a limit of 24 enhances convenience and fairness while still guaranteeing that we will far exceed the 600 points needed to complete Tier VII.

Challenges is limited for similar reasons. Up to level 60, the maximum possible score is 16 points. However, at level 60, ships opens up, and members can score up to 20 points including ships challenges. Saving all Challenges for the activity means not completing daily activities until late in the day, which can be inconvenient. Thus, again for reasons of convenience and fairness, the limit is 16. It is convenient for members at level 60 and above and fair to members below level 60. Everyone can tie for first place.

What if I exceed the limit?

You can get away with it once. Acknowledge your mistake and resolve to do it correctly next time.

I have very little power and will be very little help on raids. Can I still join?

Yes. Make 600 tickets daily. We have the power to finish the raids. We need you to make tickets to pay for the raids. We do not care about your power. We care about your regular daily participation. Just make your 600 daily, and you will be fine.

I do not have any 6* or 7* toons, so I canot participate in the raids. What can I do?

Work any one toon up to 7* as soon as possible. We will never run anything less than Heroic rancor or normal tank. It is all about the gear. Bottom prize for Heroic in terms of gear basically could amount to a much higher prize for a Tier VI. It makes no sense for any guild to run raids any lower than the members can defeat. It may seem daunting to work any toon all the way up. Trust that this effort will be worth it. Your lone toon will get mashed flat, but you will receive rewards just for going in.

Currently, we run Heroic rancor at least three times per week and normal tank at least twice per week. Bottom payout for Heroic rancor is 200K credits, 640 guild coins, some random raid gear, and 1 Han Solo shard. Bottom payout for normal tank is 320K credits, 940 guild coins, and random raid gear. Consequently, if you have just one 7* toon and enter all of the raids, you are guaranteed at least 1.24M credits, 3800 guild coins, 5 boxes of random raid gear, and 3 Han Solo shards every week. That is absolute minimum.

That is a lot of shards! How can I do it?

Chewbacca is easy. You alreay get him at 4* early on. You can farm shards from Cantina 1-C, Dark Side hard 2-C, and Light Side hard 3-E. Farm both Light Side and Dark Side nodes three times every day, and use all of your Cantina energy to farm him every day. Also, you get free crystals for completing daily activities. Use your first 200 free crystals daily for Cantina refreshes. You will have a 7* Chewbacca very quickly following that plan. Also keep in mind that normal tank only requires 6*.

But, I do not like Chewbacca.

This is not about whether or not you like Chewbacca or any other toon. This is about getting one toon up to 7* as fast as you can so that you can start getting all the great loot from all of the raids. Chewbacca was just an example. Other toons can be farmed fast as well.

What if I do not finish my 600 tickets every day?

No. No, no. No, no, no, no. Make 600 daily. See rule #1. The leader counts everyones tickets and records them daily. When everyone makes 600 daily, the accounting is easy. If the leader must go looking for the mising tickets, irritation is generated. Also, do not wait until the last minutes to finish tickets. You may find yourself booted out of the guild and replaced with an alt.

What if I miss a whole day?

You wil be cut. You will find space at a developing associated guild, such as The Hair Club for Wookies.

Think of it this way. If you have a restaurant, on a slow day, a couple of people sitting at one of your tables having just coffee for hours is generally no problem. When the restaurant gets busy, those people are a problem. It is time for them to go. Space is limited. Our guild is full, and we are ready to start filling another one. Just as sitting at a table in a busy restaurant implies that you are going to order, holding a slot in our guild implies that you at least intend to produce 600 tickets every day.

I have to go on vacation. What should I do?

Let the officers know when you are going. This will give us a chance to make recruiting preparations. After guild reset, you will be booted. Please do not remove yourself. Let us do it for you. Relax. Space permitting, we will get you back in when you come back (by cutting the least productive member). If we canot get you back in, then it means we have at least one associated guild that is on the grow. We will guide you there. Also, the best thing to do is to send an ally request to Snazzy (477-183-315) and join The Hair Club for Wookiees. That way, when you come back, you can message that you would like to return, and we can let you know when space is available.

Without guild chat, how can I let you know that I want back in?

What is your time zone?

Jesith Busan 1 is in the Korean time zone, +9 G.M.T.

When do we run raids?

Heroic rancor raids are launched at 10 P.M. Korea time (+9 G.M.T.). Heroic rancor raids are launched whenever tickets are available. A heroic rancor raid costs 60K tickets. Thus, if the guild perpetually produces the maximum tickets of 30K per day, there will be a heroic rancor raid launch every two days. Day 1 will be registration, and the rancor will be killed on day two.

What if I mess up registration and accidentally do damage?

Immediately get on chat. Confess and apologize. If you do not, we will start hailing you on chat. Acknowledge the mistake. We will let you get away with it once. If a member does not fess up and recognize the error or does it again, administrative discipline will be administered. After guild reset, the member will be booted and (maybe) immediately invited back. This removes the registration (but not the damage, which gets assigned to Mol Eliza). It probably means that you miss out on all rewards for the whole raid because this is usually done by low-level players who just bring in all they have and attack.

Are we going to use a chat application like the Line app?

We may use a chat app in the future, but for now, we are intentionally keeping it simple. Guild chat is not great, but it is serviceable.

What is "F2P"?

"Free to play"

I am F2P. How can I meet the suggested minimums for Light Side Battles, Dark Side Battles, Hard Mode battles, and Cantina?

First of all, you are earning crystals for free by completing daily activities, at least 180 per day on average. Those crystals are only for energy refreshes, nothing else.

This is actually easy. Before Light Side Battles or Dark Side Battles starts, use energy to complete your daily requirement for the other side. Let energy build up close to your limit. Use Cantina energy to meet your daily 600 for raid tickets. Do not let regular energy exceed your maximum.

Let us assume that you saved 100 energy before guild reset. Great. Use it all on appropriate battles. Then, buy two refreshes, and use it all on appropriate battles. Over the remaining 24 hours, you will get another 375 free energy. Use it all on appropriate battles. At daily reset and before the next guild reset, buy two more energy refreshes, and use it all on appropriate battles.

100 + (2 x 120) + 375 + (2 x 120) = 955

Your crystal cost was 200. This happens three times per week, Light Side, Dark Side, and Hard Mode. Cantina costs 400 for the same thing.

(200 x 3) + 400 = 1000

If you are not earning at least 1000 crystals average per week freely from daily activities, daily login, and Galactic War, then it is strongly recommended that you join some other guild, one with no goals.

Does all of this mean that F2P members have an obligation to spend their crystals that way?

No. There is no obligation. The primary obligation is 600 tickets every day. That will from time to time require purchase of energy refreshes but not much. However, if you are F2P and you are spending your free crystals on anything other than energy refreshes, then you are absolutely doing the wrong thing for your advancement and for the guild, especially if you are buying packs. F2P members have no buisness buying packs, ever.

The best use of crystals is two Cantina energy refreshes every day. Thus, F2P players may not be using them for Light Side, Dark Side, and Hard Mode. If you do, it is appreciated, but your adancement depends on farming Cantina daily. On those three activities, you could forfeit half of your Cantina benefit for regular energy to help the guild and produce higher rewards, but this is not required and not quite recommended.

However, if you are top 50 in arena or higher and winning Galactic War every day, your daily average daily crystal income is closer to 300 per day. Thus, you should be scoring at least 800-1000 in those activities.

But I want to spend all of my crystals only on packs and gear.

You will be entirely free to do that in some other guild. I recommend The Hair Club for Wookiees.

I did my 600, but guild is showing a lower number. Why?

[This feature discussed below has been updated and works slightly better but still makes no sense and is inaccurate.]

You are looking at daily tickets in the guild Manage tab. DO NOT LOOK THERE. Just ignore that. It makes no sense. That list shows how many tickets you have produced since daily reset, not from guild reset. It is possible for members to do 600 immediately after guild reset and then for that list to show 0 right after daily reset. That list does not show your actual daily tickets. Ignore it. Stop looking at it.

If you want to know how many tickets you have done so far today, then...

...look at the Guild Activities page in your game. Here, 580 of 600.

I do not really believe that your guild is actually producing tickets for so many raids. How can I believe you?

2017/02/27 Cantina Energy, Tier VII completed

[2017-02-28 image unavailable. Tickets were 29,364. Total energy for Light Side Battles was 28,944, completing Tier IV.]

2017-03-01 Galactic War. Note that 2 members accidentally exceeded the 24 limit and were dealt with. Check back next week for perfect execution. We always finish Tier VII.

2017-03-02 Hard Mode Battles

2017-03-03 Challenges. We always complete Tier VII. This time, we enjoyed flawless adherence to the 16 limit.

2017-03-04 Dark Side Battles

What does "zerg" mean?

"Zerg" means "attack", "kill", "destroy". In Jesith Busan 1, we use it to mean to attack a raid without registration or reservation. When a raid is designated as zerg, as in the case of normal tank, all members are free to attack immediately and without reservation. Once Heroic rancor gets to Phase II, we designate it as zerg as well. Our first attempts at Heroic tank will probably be zerg, too, though that is currently undecided.

I have low power. Are you looking to replace me?

If you follow the rules, you are going to gain the power we need for Heroic tank. The only members we have any interest in replacing are those who break the very simple rules, specifically, the first rule. Just make 600 tickets daily. Any other mistakes can be dealt with nicely.

So really all I have to do is make 600 tickets every day, register properly for raids, score 24 or less in Galactic War, score 16 or less in Challenges, score at least 5 in Squad Arena, and more than 0 on the other four activities and I will be allowed to stay indefinitely?

Yes. It is that easy. Also, registration is not required. Registration is entirely optional. You can wait until the fight actually happens if you want. Registration is simply our way of prividing a full 24 hours to every member to ensure that registered members are able to collect for the raids for which they kindly generated tickets to launch.

Your raid time is inconveneient for me. Can you change it or allow me to do a little damage during registration?"

No.

For the time being, the registration policy and raid times are carved in stone. We need regularity. We cannot satisfy everyone, so we will not even try. If fighting the raids at some other time is important to you, please join another guild. If you are good enough for this guild, you should be good enough for any Heroic rancor guild.
